Sno.I've had two brand new TNF jackets stolen at bars-- one was over $400.
While I was in the process of moving, my car broke down, so I had it taken to an auto-shop even though it was full of my belongings. Someone broke in and stole everything in my car which included every jacket I own.
Someone broke into my car while I was at a bar in Seattle and stole my purse which was hidden under the seat.
Someone broke into my car while my husband was at a bar in Seattle and stole two TNF messenger bags. Don't know why my husband didn't take them out of the car before he drove to Seattle, so that was sort of dumb.
Someone stole my dad's utility trailer out of his driveway (about $6000)
Someone broke into our secured locker at my condo and stole a bunch of tools and some skis.
Someone stole my phone at a wedding and then tried to sell it on ebay but I caught him.

MinggWhen going to a bigger mountain with sketchy people, if you have a group of friends, trade off a ski with each person. So you all have an unmatched set of skis and then put them on separate racks. Then if someone was like "hmm I want to steal a pair of skis today" and they see your unmatched pair of skis, they'll pass and take someone else's matched set. Sounds kind of lame but oh well. When I go anywhere but my home hill I do that and so far I've never had skis stolen.
