Armada bdog and edollo durability?

I've heard that Dente's edges aren't the best. Can't speak for the Bdog.

Armada will have their typical thin as shit base and edge. the 2.2 and 2.5 will be width, not thickness.

Armada in general (mostly) has sidewall and edge durability issues. 3/5 friends have blown out edges and their sidewalls and I've just heard in general they aren't too sturdy.

Agreed end of thread m8. Picked myself up a pair, haven't ridden them yet but literally put my boots on and clipped into them today while on the rug in my room because I'm so anxious

Ok so I can finally give some real input on this. In this past week I have had in my possession two pairs of Henrik's edollo skis. One was his park ski and one which he had touring bindings on so was more all mountain. The park one, considering how he skis, really is not too bad. A couple of edge cracks which have begun to raise, but if he had bothered to catch them early they would not e bad and they are still and easy fix. He does have a little base delam on one, under the foot, and a slight delam on one toe, but all the damage is actually totally fixable and considering how hard henrik beats these they honestly don't look bad at all.

The all mountain pair in terms of base, is beat. I have honestly never seen such a bad base, I'm guessing he literally never took them off for rocks etc and just rode over anything and everything. The bases of the park set are nearly perfect so I honestly don't know what he has done to them but again, with about $40 of ptex they will be good again.

I'm actually doing an article covering the repairs of the very skis so keep an eye out for that.

which begs the real question, how many days has he put on them? Its not hard to have a decent pair of park skis if Armada is going to send you a few pairs every winter

January to august including all the comps such as xgames etc so really pretty good.

The real question is why a guy that has his own pro model with one of the largest companies is having his skis repaired? Why not just get new ones ?

Good question. He sold them to a young am rider who needed some skis so I am fixing them up for him really but it's an awesome indication of how they held up for henrik

Interesting. I've always found my armada's to hold up a lot better than many other brands... What would you guys recommend similar to the bdog if not armada? other than the da'nollie, will check that out.
