Edge Rust prevention

I have two setups standing up in my room waiting to be used as soon as some East Coast mountains open up. Living on the ocean I have to deal with rust quite a bit. While they're not in use is applying Cold ski wax to the edges a viable way to keep them from rusting up? and also what is a good way to keep them from rusting Over longer periods of time?

You should always have thick coat of wax over bases and edges of ski in off season to prevent rusting.

Dry your skis when your done asking for the day. Get a small towel and wipe em down. If you leave them wet with some snow on them and put them in your trunk that way, they get rusty after like 40 days.

Do this, but make sure your edges are dry or all you'll be doing is trapping the moisture under the wax.

this. first pair of skis i had i never dried after using and they rusted really fast. Now i dry them off after every use. In the summer i would put a thick coat of wax on the bases and edges like mentioned already
