Tanner Hall... A freesking legend? A pioneer?
NO, Get recked. This dude is actually an obnoxious bully and asshole.

Sure, he's been successful both on the snow and in the industry.... But this and all of his marijuana injections have gone straight to his head. Tanner Hall is certainly someone who we as a community should not look up to or speak profoundly of.

There are endless examples of Tanner taking things too far and making unlogical claims. He has a lack of brains, empathy and integrity. Roasting ski racing as 'easy' and calling out pro park skiers for their 'rollerblading style' through the park is wrong on so many levels.

Whatever the case... I hope his ankles are rebroken and stay broke forever so that he cannot continue to taint our snow, our community and our image as a sport. Red Bull made the right call in dropping their sponsorship, now its our turn.

It would be far enough to call me a bully for roasting tanner, but someone had to speak up. On a side note, has anyone else noticed that his computer has been stuck on caps-lock for ages?

popadonnado you know him? what gives you the right to talk such shit if you have never even met him. i bet if you did, you would have your tail between your legs and honor his presence... what have you done for the sport? it is perfectly fine to have an opinion, and I wouldn't even be commenting if you weren't such a pussy ass punk. to wish anyone injury is such a punk move! if you have ill shit, take it to him, not hide your pussy ass behind a keyboard, or forum post. tanner has been on blast since social media has been around. he has his own opinions, maybe not all of them are on point, but he deserves to be heard. he has put his ass on the line to help the sport grow, fuck being a role model, he is a skier...


Preach! Tanner has done so much for freestyle skiing he can carry himself however he wants.

In Tanners mind, and most others, he is the best skier to ever live. He has proved it for almost 20 years. Countless Xgames medals, movie parts that are timeless and unforgettable, and an impact that, one can argue, will never be surpassed. He has come back from two injuries that 99.9% of people would have quit from. Thats all that matters, confidence and cockyness have made him the best skier alive and he doesnt give a shit what people think. He loves to ski, like him or not, he is a legend and any intelligent person can see that.

For the sake of all the kids who got hurt trying to emulate him, and just pushing "freeskiing" forward.. why isn't he doing tutorial vids and becoming an "educator." So instead of always complaining about what-have-you and then ramming Harlaut down our throats, why doesn't he just do some damned freesking coaching on YT. Does he do any coaching? If not, well that's a dickhead right there.

Maybe. Steve House's was giving a climbing gear instructional 2 years after his new ascent up Nanga Parbat and Messner was calling him the best climber in the world.

Probably helped a load of climbers, both beginners and experts.
And that's in the hypercompetitive world of mountain climbing.

The more I think about him, the more I realize what a complete dickhead TH is. He should STFU about being the founder or inventor of "freeskiing." He was/is an athletic guy in the right place at the right time. If anything he might be a pioneer within skiing and ski-trampolining.
My guess is that he probably took many tricks/ideas/designs from other people (just a guess.. snowboarders.)

I really don't want analyze his character too much in case I ever meet him. I want to at least give him a chance before I run away.

Skiing existed long before blading. I'm at a loss as to how you don't know that. Or possibly you are unaware that skiing existed before there were terrain parks?

It had something to do with Squaw shutting down the lift at noon-ish. He wanted to keep hiking jumps, and patrol was pissed about that. They got into an argument, and the rest is history.

Idiot child it was in Vars France 🇫🇷.. and all he said was that back country freestyle was real skiing over park which it is.
As we all know taking off and landing on natural terrain is much harder than in a made made park.

The patroller gave him one more. He tried, didn't land it and then wanted another 'one more.' Thats when the tizzy fit ensued. There was lightning and the mountain closed for safety. Whats the patroller supposed to do, suck his dick and say rules don't apply to him?

Tanner is honestly one of the realest dudes in our sport. The shit he is putting down these last few years has been fucking crazy if you have been watching close. He will always be my favorite... just so much respect for that warrior. He can do whatever the fuck he wants on a mountain, normal rules shouldn't apply to him. I get that makes zero sense... but Tanner Hall is a one of a kind shredder. Everyone else fro his original era is long gone (including Simon Dumont lololol), yet T Hall has been dropping some of his best skiing ever lately. Unreal
