Official Get Frenchy Unbanned Thread

People of newschoolers, my dear friend and fellow newschoolers member Alex, a.k.a. Frenchy was banned earlier this year after apparently "ruining too many threads". Now, I dont think this was the issue at all. I believe that it was all Frenchy's fault and he deserves another chance to enjoy the forums like the rest of us. It wasn't all on frenchy. There's PLENTY of members on here that start just as much shit as he did, and members that started shit with him just because they knew they would get a response out of him and the thread would derail from there. Frenchy is a good member, a good skier and a dope ass dude IRL. He leaves in a little over a month for infrantry school.

So, people, mods, admins of newschoolers. Give my pal Frenchy another chance. He deserves it.

Frenchy has had every chance in the world and blown them. I've advocated for him before, but honestly there in no room for him in this site. He doesn't create or contribute to a positive (or constructive) space.

You probably deleted that thread about Banff. Thanks for making it harder for me to hook up with some locals on my ski vacation this is a ski website but I guess we should all just come on here and agree with Dingo's views on feminism and tell him how smart he is....

The guy is passionate about states rights and southern heritage and sometimes it gets the better of him. Hes not even just a big mouth either if hes enlisting and joining the military.

You have no influence on if we unban somebody.

This, if frenchy wants to be unbanned he can contact us. This thread has been pretty consistent for a couple days now and we have no email from him.

The site was worse with him on it than not on it. He had numerous chances and requests to not act in that negative manner. He either ignored those requests or just couldn't manage to contain himself. There's no reason to suspect he would be better now than then. Hence, no, he will not be unbanned.

We also don't take requests via threads. Whining about decisions is unlikely to result in those being reversed. How were you going to "get" Frenchy unbanned? Did you think if this thread got enough posts you'd suddenly obtain moderation tools?

Pointless thread is pointless.

So if he's really leaving for war in a month you guys areally basically telling him to go fuck himself. There's a real possibility he may get killed or very injured and none of us will ever hear from him again. That's totally fucked of you guys ( if it's true that he is actually going overseas if he's not then I agree with your decision)

So after all this drama and petition and you guys saying shoot us an email we'll fix and or review and the entire time you knew you were going to let him back in. Dude Jesus Christ man what don't you understand about this situation, whatever you guys say and do doesn't matter, at all. This decision is between modd and frenchy, you have absolutely no say, a petition does not matter. You guys are causing drama because you think some dude, who got banned for a pretty legit reason, should just have his account back, because YOU want him to. Also, don't go off on some bullshit rant that we are disrespecting military. Frenchy broke the rules, many times, and it doesn't matter if he's the fucking president of the world.

I don't know why you deleted your first post when you quoted me, and I know that my opinion doesn't affect the site at all.

I deleted and posted because I didn't wanna edit and had more to say.

That being said, what is fucked up? Why are you so dramatic about a forum? Frenchy can read every thread, watch every video, etc he just can't log into his account which he lost for a good reason. Hell he could probably make an alias and keep it mellow and we would never know. Stop this bullshit about how were opressing him, I'm pretty fucking over it.

I'm not in the military so I have no idea what's going on right now or what the future will hold. All I do know is for the most part being in the military is pretty dangerous.

Like I said before, Alex could make an account and be mellow and we'd never know, people do that alot and you're not suppose to but if he didn't cause any problems we wouldn't notice. He also can see everything on ns he just can't post on his account.

In all reality, this didn't piss any moderator off haha. We don't like to ban people. I sure don't. Moreover, if someone deserves a 2nd (or even 4th) chance, we are in some cases willing to grant mercy, but in this case? ehhh when a member can't control their shit like in this case.. it's kinda done.

But what if we're from Canada haha. Frenchy isn't defending J.D., that's for sure.

Just because dude's about to go join the military doesn't mean he should get to come back on NS to post bullshit for the next month as a 'gift' of sorts... again, we don't owe him shit, especially when he's done nothing to deserve shit.

If you want to get all constitutional about it (as if US constitutional law holds any grounds when it comes to NS - as so many of you ridiculously believe), the 3rd amendment trumps the 1st amendment in this case. We don't have to grant Frenchy a soapbox just because he's shipping out soon.

Frenchy deserved to be banned, its been an ongoing discussion with mods and if he expresses interest in returning he should hit us up. We unban permabanned accounts, no one is gone forever. Shit I got IP banned years ago for being an absolute idiot. We believe in second chances but were not gonna unban him cause some dudes who like him want him back.

You can go on and on about whatever bullshit you wanna spew but in the end your word doesn't change anything about a banned member, only the banned member has any influence on their account, end of story.

Disrespecting a military member? Just because he's a guy that signed the contract doesn't make him a person we should all look up to. That's the problem with veterans these days. Always asking for handouts and looking like they're gods.

I know this cause i was in the military. He's not going to war, he
