I've been skiing for a long, long time. I'm in my 30s and a long, long time member of newschoolers and an OG newschool/whatever skier. I love this shit.
I bought a pair of orange 1080s around 2000 in Nova Scotia. Skiing has been a pretty big part of my life ever since. I've spent dedicated seasons in Banff, Laax, Whistler, and Nelson. Through jobs and hookups, I've been able to ski at almost every notable ski hill in North America, many in Europe, some in Asia, and some super weird cases as well.
Over the years I've worked for ski magazines, been hooked up by a few fantastic companies, and met some wonderful people. I'm kind of an old guy now. I think I still shred pretty hard, can still do tricks (backflips and f4 sup), and am now fortunate to be a judge at a bunch of pretty big ski comps. I've met some amazing people and had fantastic times due to skiing.
I just wanted to chime in and say skiing is a lot of fun. Keep doing it. I love this shit.
