ghosthopthe ti heel is such a piece of shit, the plastic base is super prone to cracking. The current sth 12 with the sth heel and oversize toe is a solid option if you're on a budget. Or look for some cheap Tyrolias in the same din range.

veng_mI think the Z12's are Salomon's equivalent to the Marker Griffon. I have two pairs of Griffon's and I've never had any problems with them. I like them. I've never skied Z12's though. I hope this helps, good luck man and have a sick season.

dylgoz23no they are not.
LamafamaDon't give advice if you haven't used it or have any exp of it. The Z12 is an utter piece of shit, the Griffon is ok if your a lighter rider. I have used both.
Lamafamathe Griffon is ok if your a lighter rider

ghosthopthe griffon is a total bitch to step into if you're a lighter rider
LamafamaIf your having issues stepping into Griffons then you need to eat more.
ghosthopYou sure you aren't from the states and just trying to throw us off with the casual mate? Obesity is not the answer. I'm about 125 lbs and griffons suck dick to step into. Its alright tho, because I don't ski marker.
Anyway, if OP can't spring for sth/fks, as has been previously stated solid tyrolia bindings can be found for cheap on the interwebs

LamafamaCertainly not from the states, one is from Scotland, nor am I fat, I am 6'4 and 90kgs though, years of rowing built me up in the proper way. Your only 56kg, hell some of the kids I know weigh more than that and they only use Free Ten's. Closest adult I know to that who rides park is only on squires. the lot who are light (60-72kgs) all on Griffons and the like with no issues. Then again even at your weight you should be able to step into Markers with no problems. Some of the girls I know who are your weight ride them with no issues.
Swandog7I had squires last season (FML) and used them for the sumer because i got new skis. I was even having trouble stepping into them. I took off the brakes to clean them and noticed they got a little loose. I cleaned them up because they had some dirt then put them back on and had zero issues. I basically put my boot on it and it clicked just fine. Maybe you should check your brakes to see if they are loose or have any dirt/muck/cum or whatever. Ive stepped into griffons twice and had no issues and I'm like 115lbs
