skibikefishowenHave to choose one. The Filthys are $580 and the Danollies are $450. I usually ski park all day but like to play all over the mountain in between runs. 5'7 140lbs. Couldn't rate myself as a GREAT skier but the best tricks I can do currently are a 720 and front/back flip. I don't know whether I prefer my skis soft or stiff but I'd rather have a stiffer ski for increased power. Itll be my fourth season and I'm tired of breaking rentals, please help me choose one.
.lenconYou'll probably enjoy both pairs so you can't go wrong. on3p will be more durable, but from what I hear Icelantic warranties are solid. Good service from both companies. Icelantics will have a softer flex than the flithys but the filth's are still super playful with all that rocker and some flex.
skibikefishowenDo you know how much camber the Filthys have? On their site it looks so small compared to the amount of rocker it has. Will it still have good pop?

Because the bamboo + carbon core is very poppy, we run our camber a bit lower a lot of brands.
skibikefishowenThanks, what size should I get? 5'7" roughly 130lbs
KravtZJust because you can throw a front flip / backflip and 720's doesn't make you a good skier. From the sound of it...you should get a solid all mountain ski and work on your skiing skills considering you admitted it wasn't very good.
But I have tried Danollie's and they are pretty dam fun

iggyskierI would probably lean towards the 171cm as well. You are pretty light. I hope that helps. If you need more help, give the ON3P factory a call - 503-206-5909. Thanks!

hot.pocketBamboo + carbon core as in full carbon instead of fiberglass? Or fiberglass carbon combo?
iggyskierApparently my brain wasn't working right last week. Bamboo core + carbon. All of layups are a hybrid of carbon/fiberglass.
