How to stop phone from dying in the cold?

Any suggestions? i've tried keeping a handwarmer in the same pocket and my phone still dies.

get yourself a small external battery man. Best way ive found to keep it charged and the cold doesnt drain my external battery when im not using it.

Or in a waterproof case with a lanyard around your neck so it can be with your warm body and base layers.

Tape it to your crotch region. The extra body warmth down there will keep the battery lasting longer. Make sure you keep vibration on as well.

i would get one because my pants are too low so that my phone hits my knee when I ski, but no way in hell am i paying $40 plus shipping for a string with a pocket attached to it

Or turn off the porn your streaming when you get out of the gondola.

If your phone isn't a piece of shit, and you have a handwarmer on it, you should be fine.

I used to have this problem because I kept it on an outside pocket. Move it to an inside on close to your core and that should work.

Just stop by the lodge a couple times a day and toss it in the microwave for 30 seconds. It'll warm right up like a Hot Pocket.

I keep it in the pocket I can find closest to my body. Then I turn on all the power saving features. Cold weather will drain batteries, so if you can use you body heat to keep it warm then it will be fine.

If you have an iphone, buy a Mophie case. They are charging cases. Once your phone turns off because its too cold, simply turn on the case and the iphone will turn back on because of the electricity forcing the iphone to turn on.

I'd pay on a kickstarter company making like patches for phones that are the size of your phone, tactile through and like other functions. Honestly it wouldn't be a bad investment at all...

Put a hand warmer in the same pocket you put your phone in. (but not directly on your phone)

...or just bring a charger and plug it in at lunch time.

The problem with OtterBox is moisture build up inside the case has been known to cause damage. Happened to me. Last year I put my phone in a goggle bag and threw it in my chest pocket with a hand warmer.

put it on your waist band. Its really cold at first and can fall out pretty easily but if your just chillin it works well
