Alright so this question is for the big guys in the social media world.
I've been filming and editing skiing for two years now and I'm pretty stoked on how my level is evolving. I made two short ski films, lots of short edits and season edits and I've film for other projects too. The athletes in my productions are in general pretty good and some of them are even starting to really take their place in the ski scene and I'm really stoke for them.
The one thing that hasn't really evolved is that I still kinda suck at social media hype. I posted lots of edits on my vimeo account (https://vimeo.com/guillaumepj) but even my best stuff only gets around 1000 to 1500 views, I created this facebook page yet the small fanbase is mainly local kids (https://www.facebook.com/The-Stoke-Factor-398771930247801/) and I posted some of my good vids on newschoolers but the most upvotes I got was 30 (wich is a lot for me believe me).
So for those of you that have mastered this art of social media hype and marketing, what are your tips? I never really cared before but I have bigger projects for this winter and I would like them to reach a larger audience.
Thanks and +k for good answers, and also good luck to all of you in your projects this winter.
