Jiberish outside of skiing?

So as I was walking down the halls today at my high school, I saw some kid wearing a supreme hat, Jordan's, and a jiberish hoodie unzipped to show a BAPE logo. Is Jiberish really in the leagues of these major clothing brands? Have they been selling out ever since the Thug era? I honestly have no idea because tbh I've only been into freeskiing for like a year so please give me answers

They have ventured more into street fashion and less skiing and they make good stuff but they are super expensive and just need to get back to their roots

Lol I know exactly who that is... and to answer your question, in terms of renown Jiberish is no where near supreme, bape, or jordan. That kid resells supreme n that stuff n just happens to have used to ski and so knows about jiberish. I'd say outside of denver and wherever their other store is I forget only skiers tend to know about Jiberish

Idk i aunostely feel like the Jiberish is almost like the "supreme of skiing" because a lot of people wear it for fashion and not skiing. they also make a lot of stuff not for skiing

But yes I agree with you, however in recent years Jiberish has kinda stopped being as core to skiing. They have expanded their business outlook (understandably!) as they have grown, and are now much more than just the badass ski hype-brand they once were.

Is it just me or has anyone else been digging Jiberish in recent years? I think a lot of their stuff looks as good as it ever did, not to mention they have just recently started making outerwear, it's all pretty affordable during their sales too. I don't think Jiberish has really left skiing behind as much as everyone seems to think, they just released that Jacob Larsson edit.

yea pretty much clothes for the people that you want to punch in the face. Other than some cool 5xl vests, nothing is really that great

I'm not partial to their stuff nowadays, that's forsure. You can't blame Pete for making the moves he has to put some more money in the bank though; lets be real here you're probably not going to be making a really solid income selling to the niche market that is us park rats. I'd like to argue that he's been moving outside of skiing some for time now, with this:

Definitely almost did a spit-take when I was watching that. Even though it's just a subtle collaboration with Griz, Pete did it at a time when Griz was at peak relevancy (not that Griz is somehow totally irrelevant now, he was just really popular in 2013 from what I can recall). Someone else here who follows Jiberish way closer than I ever have can probably link something else that pre-dates this shit as well.

I'd actually disagree. They started creating outerwear last year in their own fashion, and this year they made more affordable pieces of outerwear (300 for coat and 200 for pants is pretty industry standard).

i aggre with a lot of people its like they don't try to be a ski company and i don't really like that .
And whats up with them selling shoes and shit now.

They're approaching the more "boutique" level. Lot more street fashion based and they're focusing on that aspect of their brand I feel like. They sell shoes as a sector of their ever-enhancing streetwear market.

Personally I have been buying their new style in street wear size my the last 2 years, I really dig the stuff they're putting out its starting to grow on me a lot! Although I do wish I could of bought that tie dye hoodie in a ski size!
