Chubz.I was thinking of going..not sure if I wanna do that or try and spend the summer at hood.
It looks like an amazing learning experience. But not really sure if i wanna drop the coin to go there.
ICarySoooo, I know its early, but my birthday is in a couple days and momma asked what I wanted and I just said this week, so she's helping me out with it as a gift and I couldn't be more excited. The week sounds like a baller freaking time working with that line up of pros and staff on the video side as well as i am sure the skiing is going to be insane. Anyone else plan on heading up to the exposure week this summer? Has anyone gone that wants to shed some more personal light on it. I have been watching all of the edits all day and I am so freaking pumped!!!
shanestolzLittle piece of advice, ask your coaches as many questions as you can when you are there. Pick their brains a little bit and see how they create all the stuff that they do. Momentum Exposure was an insane experience for me and I learned so much from what they have set up for all the campers. But like I said, you will learn even more if you approach them with specific questions on how they got a certain shot, etc.
ICaryDo you mind me asking what you brought gear wise? Camera gear wise.
Aidin954Just about to ask this haha. Should I like worry about bringing my steadicam, lights, tripod, softboxes, slider? Or should I just bring my 2 bodies, lenses, and other camera specific stuff?
ICaryMy thoughts! Hype to meet you up there dude! Well have to work on some stuff together.
ICaryI already plan on doing this thanks. Definitely not scared to go out and ask a lot of questions. Do you mind me asking what you brought gear wise? Camera gear wise.
jaimieszThinking about going this summer too... but was wondering if you should invest in a glidecam or steadicam. It's much harder to get steadier shots while you ski so I know it would be good to invest in one.. but do they let campers borrow steadicams that they have from the camp. Because I don't really feel like buying one and having to have a bit of extra bulk going to whis. any thoughts?
