Logged into my account, Showed new name and 0 karma

Had a heart attack for a few minutes, My login redirected me to "my" account page and it displayed my name as some generic name can't remember exactly what it was but It was along the lines of Essential_Ameba and it displayed my Karma X rating and Parka points as 1.0 and 0 respectively. Is this a common bug? or just some freak accident?
