2014-2015 K2 Shreditor 102. Yes or No?

Blew out my edge this past weekend at a-basin so in the market for a medium (98-106) wide ski.

70% Ripping around 30% Park

As far as sizing goes I'm 6'0 155lbs but like to go fast. Between the 177 and 184 as i hear k2 are measure a true length.

Also thinking about Kartel 106...

Any input, advice, experiences would be appreciate!

In my experience the shreditors were super fun, really soft and are super easy to play around on. They washed out on me a couple times when ripping the groomers on the way back to the lift...that was annoying.


However, ON3P makes a badass ski and I've heard nothing but good things about the Kartels

2014s Shreditor 102 are not exactly the same as 2015 Shreditor 102.

I don't know why but if you check carefully they changed the 2014 Shreditor 102 to Shreditor 92 in 2015.

I have the 2014 Shreditor 102 and they are super fun all terrain and will do very good on fresh powder too.

Not quite. The 2013/14 Shred 102s were actually just the KungFujas with a different graphic and name, 2014/15 and 2015/16 102s are a whole nother ski. A very fun, jibby, soft ski.
Shreditor 92s are equivalent to Recoils I believe.

2014s Ssreditor 102 are the Kung Fujas, but 2015s Shreditor 102 are changed, they are more like 2014s Shreditor 112.

Definitely go 184. I'm about the same size as you and the 102 in 184 is my daily driver. Hope that helps!

I am trying to make basically the exact same decision. I think I might have to go with the on3p's, just because of how durable they are supposed to be.

check out the fat-ypus M5's as well. very good ski, durable great for everything and an awesome owner/company.
