anyone know the mm of the edges on these? anyone ride them yet?

Don't know if I want to go with a pair of these or some tigersnakes or chronics from line to try for this year. Not in need of skis just work at a shop now and wondering which would be the most fun to try since I get pro forms.

It honestly depends on what type of skiing your gonna be doing. I own a pair of the tigersnake, outta the three they are going to be the stiffest and narrowest ski. their strickly designed for the park. Whereas the chronic is definitely wider alittle softer then the tigersnakes and then the revolt is kinda your all mtn soft park ski. I was talking to our local marker/volkl rep about them. He said they're a super fun ski. I personally haven't ridden them yet but I'm definitely looking to try a pair this year and maybe buy a pair if I like them. from what he was saying they're kinda comparable to the line blends in that theyre a all mtn park ski that u can take everywhere.

I don't trust new models whenever they come out, but the Volkl is very reliable when it comes to durability. Idk about the tigersnake. But the chronic is probably Lines best park ski

lol it's not like a new engine in a new model car, skis are basic enough they usually don't have many issues that they havent already solved.

You probably don't work with skis much. The tigersnake is also lines new price point ski. I'm not a huge fan of price point skis.

I dont think anyone is a fan of price point skis... People get them cause they're cheap, not because of their performance.

and op if your work at a shop, why don't you just measure the edges yourself? id definitely get the revolt over the tiger snake imo, on paper the revolts just look like a better made and more fun ski.

I usually spring for nicer/more durable skis even if they're more expensive, simply because they last long enough for it to be worth it. Not to mention that their performance tends to be superior to those of a lower quality.

Considering i work with skis 5 days a week I'm gonna call you out and say your wrong. I know its a price point ski i was just looking for anyones opinion on how it rides is all, whether its actually a fun ski or not this isn't a "what ski do i need to buy post"

we don't carry volkl the only reason that ski came up is because we do carry marker and they are a partner brand. considering prices i am just gonna get the revolt on paper it looks like a sick ski.

I was thinking about getting the revolt, I'm just worried about the weight. I heard it was on the heavier side when it comes to twin tips.

i just got the revolts and skied them last weekend, im 5'8'' and on the 173. i was on a pair of k2 recoils before and was worried about the revolts being to soft, but thats definitely not the case. tip and tail are a little softer but the skis are pretty solid under foot. its still a völkl i guess so dont expect it to be tooo buttery and all that. lots of early rise which was very noticable especially on things like surface swaps or dirty landings. i also took them through some softer snow and they handled really nicely, much more control at higher speeds than i expected. the runs down they glacier were really reallly icy and thats where this ski kinda sucked, couldnt hold an edge very well.

overall still really happy with this ski and would recommend it.
