Disclaimer: I'm high so this might not make any sense.
I was listening to You've Got Time by Regina Spektor and something about the lyrics and actual notes made me think about skiers and snowboarders who have died. The more I listen to it the more it seems like a perfect tribute. (I know Regina didn't think about this when she was writing the song)
I am going to break down the song as why it's a great tribute.
section 1
0:00 - 1:02
this section made me think of JP Auclair's street segment. It also made me think about how they all loved skiing and snowboarding so much and were so dedicated that they were able to make it their career. Mainly just remember that they could shred hard.
section 2
1:02 - 1:20
This section made me think about how not only their accomplishments should be remembered but their individual personality and passion for the sport should also be remembered. A good example was how Sarah Burke liked to prank/scare people. After she died Rory dressed up in a gorilla suit and scared X Games competitors during interviews next year.
Section 3
1:20 - 3:08
this section makes me think about how their passion will be continued by the next generation of skiers. It also made me think about how things go full circle.

One last thing, all of this stirred up emotions that I thought had healed. Not sure why, I guess I just hadn't worked them all out.
