Unless people start doing 3 1/2's straight to the dome, then any triple will be the closest thing to a L-E-G-I-T quad.

it's idiotic to tell people to not do certain tricks in any sort of action sport whether it be surfing, skating, skiing, doesn't matter. when you start to regulating sports like that you're thinking the same way FIS did when they took over the mogul comps, which really pushed a lot of cool people away.

so yeah if you wanna be "cool" start skiing in the mogul comps where you're only allowed single flips.

many people have triples and lock and yet i can still continue to turn on the computer every day and watch a video of someone with dope style killing rails and doing smaller rotations on big jumps, so your concept of more people doing bigger spins in big air comps taking away style etc isn't really valid.

Then you are blind, he does a triple with an extra 180 at the end. Its like saying a rodeo 10 is a dub rodeo.


Again, the video in the OP is a triple, the only way he would be close to a quad (which has mean mentioned) is if he flipped/corked again and landed on his head. You don't just almost do a quad and land, that's not how it works.

Comp guys, are good friends with film guys.

Film guys, are good friends with comp guys.

Sometimes comp guys film.

Sometimes film guys compete.

The schism you speak of will never happen.

Also, what would happen in this "schism".
