facedownassupdude if you are in Minneapolis just drive to Colorado to ski there. Why drive all the way to go to Mount Bohemia, its shit and not worth it
AmateurPilgrimhave you been there ?
facedownassupno, its not worth my time
the only ppl that think its good is those from the Midwest
Cats. Are you retarded? Mount Bohemia is half as far from Minneapolis, has almost as good of terrain, is much less crowded, and has much better snow. I've skied Mount Bohemia, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Oregon, and Idaho, including spending two full seasons in Utah (which has better snow than Colorado). I skied some of the best snow of my life at Mount Bohemia.
OP, keep in mind that Mount Bohemia needs a lot of snow to open, so they may not even by open by Christmas, and if they are, it might not be that good. Spring break would be a better time to go. And then of course there's a risk of getting rained out, but at Mount Bohemia, when the conditions are good, they're god-teir.
JustGoWithItTo further Cats. point I would recommend you take a look at last years snowfall totals for December

It takes a lot to fill in the hill and given the fact that they have no snow making equipment, you are really shooting from the hip by going that early. This year much like last is suppose to be a strong El Nino (especially through November and into early December) which means the air masses coming across the lake will probably not be as frequent nor will they pick up as much precip. and therefor there will be less accumulation, who knows though. I know it is a pain in the ass if you have already booked the trip however I would recommend you hold off until late January-early March to get the most out of your trip. Last year mid February was amazing!

HP123bohemia is a blast!! Multiple small hucks right under the main lift. Lots of bigger cliffs off to your right when you get off the lift, some frozen waterfalls if you catch them at the right time. Lots of areas to explore and they all lead back down to the road and you can catch the bus back to the base. Have fun man!!
casualMt. Bohemia seems really fucking rad, but you've lost touch with reality a bit it seems.
quixoticmt bohemia is good enough for meathead films.
https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/790965/Mt--Bohemia-ski-Michigan-Upper-Penisula-Copper-Harbor-Keewenaw-UP
Peter.meatheads skis anything with a dusting of snow, so they aren't really a good thing to use to prove a point about how good the snow is
HP123300+ inches of snow annually, better steeps than anything on the east coast, yurts at the base and a bus system that wraps around the mountain. The mountain is right off of superior creating lake effect blower.
Funny how all these people that have never skied bohemia decide to comment on this thread.
Did I mention they're implementing the first ever midwest cat skiing operation this season? They just logged and cut runs this summer. Yes a fucking cat will be operating this winter.
Lots to explore and the lifties are chill as fuck! :) Hope you enjoy man!!
californiagrownI just haven't seen any videos showing how rad it should be according to a few people. Im always up for skiing stoke!
JAHpowI saw a video from a snowboarder of bohemia on youtube. While he wasn't riding hard at all the video did show a ton of snow there.

californiagrownFrom all video evidence it still seems like Bohemeia is short cliff faces into flat overgrown landings and runouts.
Looks like a fun spot with a cool vibe, but its still only the best in the midwest haha.
Id personally suggest saving a few hundred more monies and doing an SLC trip.
Cats.I don't deny that many places in the Rockies are much better than Bohemia, but Bohemia has good terrain even by Rockies standards and god-tier snow, that's all. Rockies beat it due to elevation and better cliffs if for no other reason.
That and Colorado isn't that great, which is what facedownassup was comparing Bohemia to. Utah vs Bohemia, Utah wins no competition. Colorado vs Bohemia? Bohemia still loses but it's much closer, and Bohemia has better snow than Colorado.
Definitely this. Bohemia is great and very worth going to, but Utah is better.

soulskierMy bad, that's a lower peninsula reference
yelselThis place has been on my bucket list for years and will hopefully knock it off sometime soon
californiagrownI feel like your bucket list must also include other low hanging fruit like: own a car, see an ocean, and visit Canada.
