I do for my park Skis. I'm not the best skier in the world and I'm supposed to be skiing around the 175 length area but I love my 161s. I don't hit anything too huge so I never wash out and I feel like I have more control then when I do use 175s. Am I the only one here with this issue?
Rode 148s last season when i was 5'2-5'5. IM about 5'7 now. This season I'm rocking 168s and 170s. Big jump but I rode them at a rail jam last weekend and they felt way better. Only thing i have to adjust to is weight/swing weight.

It's not always the arrow. Sometimes it's the guy shooting it.
I ski lots of sizes and like them all.
My shortest are 147 and my longest are 195's. I rarely ski those 195's anymore though.
radishAs your skiing improves you will realize how important it is to have the right size skis. You will never see a pro rocking skis that are way to short.
Short skis suck, long skis truck
Jesper tjader use's way too small of skis, but he's also a rollerblader so that kinda explains it....
wolfbackpackI'm also a rollerblader. Thats why I swit he'd to skii g instead of snowboarding.
Just have fun man. If your set up is working for you don't worry about what people think. Like Dominator said there are all different philosophies about this.

im proud of you for having the courage to come out to all of us like that, however if your skiing i recommend skis that go to about your forehead, any shorter is dumb, you wont have the stability you need to become a good skier.

You're like crazy funny and super original. I like that about you. But I'd appreciate it if you'd take the immaturity to NSG with the other 12 year olds. I was asking a legitimate question trying to get some actual results homie.

The fact is, bro, everything he said regarding your question was 100% correct.

I was riding 172s when I rode all mountain and then bought 159s last season just for park. They are sooooo dope! First day I rode them I got my first frontside 270 out and 540 at Keystone. You guys can hate and say they look dumb all you want but they make your tricks so much better.
People here get really carried away with ski length and everyone thinks they need to be on the biggest size. If you look at the top complaint guys not many ride skis above head height. Shorter skis will spin faster and just be easier generally to throw around.
What at people forget is if you go for a stiffer ski (like most comp guys use) you don't need to upsize to get stability. I can ride anything from 171 to 186 in the park (5'11 and 160lbs) dependin on how the skis ride.

What hight are you? I have the same issue and I just got the armada 164 I ski 165-172 tops and love small skis but these mounted center. Is that gonna give me an issue I'm a good skier but I don't really park ski I'm trying to learn.

Homie this was 4 years ago. Half of the people in this thread graduated middle school and never looked back.
