Can SD and HD be mixed well?

So I have a GL2 and also a HD DSLR and maybe a POV cam for this year, and I'm gonna throw together a little movie documenting the season. But my question remains, can the two be mixed and everything still flow?

I mean, there will be a noticeable difference, plenty of guys do it though.

When it comes to being creative and original, just do whatever you want, dont ask people if something is going to work or try to emulate something else, just do your own thing. If it sucks, it sucks but at least you did what you wanted to do.

Children of the Guan (HG short from this fall) does it, I think hood crew has done it a bunch. Like eheath said, create what you want!

Hood crew is all about the skiing in their videos, less so of the glam and *pristine* look of their videos and people love it.

i have been trying to mess around with both
like said above, i don't really care if people like it more. it was a change i made myself and i feel once i get it dialled then it may be something people are interested in

Fersure! Im a huge fan of the SD and HD footge mix. But, when doing it you have to do it right. Dont ty to switch between HD and SD to often. I feel that SD camera work looks better between tricks as filler, rather then shooting the full trick in SD. Either way though it could be super dope! Get creative!!!!

Why even switch. Use the GL2 for everything and it will end up even sicker. HD is played

cause i'd be mixing it bc i have other people sending me hd clips from ns to put in the movie and i like hd
