Have any of you ever been made an offer on gear that seems like it could be stolen?
Is there a right way to deal with this sort of thing?

THEDIRTYBUBBLEWhy are you making that assumption?
El.I'm not assuming that they are stolen, but just that they could be. It was because of no pictures, ridiculously low asking price, very little description. They're on craigslist too so I would pick them up and pay in person. I'm not worried about losing my money, its just about owning someones stolen stuff.
S.J.WUnless they're a pair of "snowboarding is cool" J skis, then you'll be fine.
fskproductionIt's not skis, but i've bought a Gopro Hero 4 Black few weeks ago... brand new in box never used for 450$ in Canada hahah.
Not suspicious at all hahah
