Marker 1200 TI Free?

i've never heard anyone mention these bindings on here, but they're awesome. incredibly light and they ride really low to the snow, so i feel like i get much better control (vs. the 912ti's on my other skis). supposedly they're Marker's freeride binding, but they don't seem to be very popular. i love them and i'd suggest some people consider them if they're looking for bindings. any thoughts?

I ski the 1400 Free along with the 1800's on my Maden's.

most people talk s**t about Marker and they have no idea about them caise they have never skied on them.

check out Jon Cryulik, he killin it on Marker's

I also have the 1400 free on my V-Pro's and the 1800 on my Gotamas. Marker make a grunty binding but seem to get alot a shit from you US guys. I asume that is because along with volkl they are not that wide spread in the states, and all the punks on here love giving them shit, as they know litle about them.

personally i have broken 3 pair off the 1200 frees...and i now swear by look. i love look bindings. the 1200s are a good binding, but i don't think they are that good for the type of skiing that i do.

this is the first thread i've seen on here where people are mostly saying markers are great. This is new. Not much of a Marker fan myself. Look/Rossi all the way.

yeah that's why i wanted to put the idea out there, i haven't seen many people on here praise them at all, it's usually saying that they suck. i haven't heard many reasons why though, just that random breakage occurs. i don't know why people only highlight the bad, my understanding was that Marker had a very good reputation as being the safest, most reliable, etc. maybe that's just for their race and 'regular' bindings though, i don't know.

ive been using the 1200ti frees for a couple years now, and i agree they deffenitly kick ass. so much more solid feeling than salmonons. the only problem ive had is the peice over the brakes bending up. but marker is pretty good about warrantying that shit.
