thewaterboy_Hey guys looking to buy a pair of bindings. I'm looking for a binding that is very light but has a durable construction. Looking at the marker Griffons. Let me know what you think of them and hmu with some suggestions. I'd like to keep it under $250. Thanks guys.
There are tons of threads laying around on this forum about this question. I am no expert and i'll keep it short.
The Griffon is a good binding, some people hate on Marker, but as long as you avoid the squire you should be fine.
Axial 3 / PX3 are stable bindings, not too expensive either.
Salomon STH2 is one of the newer very solid bindings, with large elasticity and a solid build. I myself have one and can't complain (atleast not yet).
Look/Rossi FKS 120/140. Also a premium binding, a bit more costy than axial and px.
If you aren't looking to tour and you ride at a din around 7-10 these bindings should all the fine. No reason to go for a 16 or 18 DIN binding unless you are a heavy guy that likes to go big and knows what you are doing. Maybe you can find a last years color and get em cheap.
