Hey NS, I'm a current junior in high school and I've been working closely with a local retailer in my area developing my own tall tees and sweatshirts to develope my own brand and company, but I've been looking to expand, and I wanted to ask you guys for help.

What on mountain things do you wish you had? I know a lot of people keep their "cigarettes" in those thin tin things, so just stuff like that?

And if I knew how to attach a picture I'd post one of the sweatshirts I'm making

You should definitely make a website and logo to start marketing.
Also get some skiers to wear stuff in some edits this winter to get publicity

And to answer your question, warm hoodie pocket/pouch for streetwearin, and use flexible material. I hate it when I blow tons of money on a hoodie and find out it fits like a straight jacket

I'd be very curious to see some photos of what you're designing, maybe I'm the only one, but I'd like to see some classier graphics on hoodies, stuff that simple cool and sticks with an outdoor theme. More like Eric Pollards art and less like you're average street graffiti.

A hoody that is warm, not for spring days but to wear under my jacket for the cold days. Something with a nice liner, insulated and maybe has a phone pocket with headphones so that I dont have to worry about it in my outside jacket. No one out there makes hoodies that are good for wearing under jackets.

Basically just meld Ladies Ladies together with the upside-down pocket tee "company" and you will be swimming in money. If you're still unsure, make sure you buy the cheapest generic tall t from China and slap your logo on it. Instant company!

Oh, so you're a not-for-profit? You left that part out. Good on you for doing this purely for the good of the community. The fact that you plan to make no profit at all changes my perspective. Thanks for your charity! All of us rich white kids definitely need it.

A long sleeve shirt for under your jacket that has pocket in it for your phone. If it had strong Velcro or a zipper then your phone won't fall out and if it's close to your skin if wont get too cold.

Don't give up, invest your time in this if its what you love, don't let people bring your dreams down just because they gave up on theirs, make it happen! You can pull ideas from NS which is a great source (if it were up to me the colors would be subtle and the designs clean but well thought out) but maybe your vision is different. The point is do something that is totally you, thats whats going to succeed, make something unique and don't attempt to be like anyone else. Good luck man.

Thank you guys. What I'm getting so far is a warm, bombproof pocket for iPhone that can give you easy access to a headphone jack. Sweatshirt should have a simple, classic, and creative design with a baggy fit and not be stiff as fuck.

something with skulls and shit. There is an emerging punk scene in freeskiing that could be worth capitalizing on. There should be a design on the back and a small logo on the front chest. It should be black of course white logo, or maybe even black on black.

if you're looking for riders just to rep, i could bring a lil bit to the midwest (specifically Ohio). I ski a ton, travel to different resorts, and always am striking up a conversation with new people. I don't expect free shit but sounds like a cool opportunity
