Currently have a 2.92 GPA but want to go into nursing there, should I apply for general studies or liberal arts, boost my grade for a couple semesters, then switch my Major to nursing. my GPA is low because of Languages and English whereas my Grades in science, math, and history have always been better. K+ for some good responses

My gf is currently in the nursing program. Its hard as fuq, mainly because its a new program and they havent figured their shit out yet. Gonna have to get that gpa way up. She is constantly studying and is in the group of 18 out of 24 that arent passing (need an 80 or above in all classes). Good luck man...

You do realize that if you don't apply for the nursing program at most schools, you won't be able to switch from a different major to nursing while in school.
