gnar_whalGo to a good boot fitter
While this is 100% true, I want to offer one boot suggestion which is something that I don't normally do. In the world of wide-fitting ski boots, the ski boot industry largely reserves their wide boots for entry level price points. This means that wide boots typically lack the nicer features that are put on the narrow, more "performance" oriented boots. Because of that, it's been a personal goal of mine to bring a wide boot to the market that has legit features normally only found on those narrow "performance" boots.
So, while finding the right fit for you is the most important thing, I think one of the boots you should investigate is the Hawx Magna 130 or 110. They are 102mm lasted in boots (in size 26) and both models use our Memory Fit technology where the entire shell can be heat molded to fit your foot and heat moldable liners to match. They also feature Power Shift, which allows the forward lean and flex to be exactly dialed in for your biomechanical needs.
Normally these kind of high-end features are not found on wide boots. And, like I said, I normally don't suggest a specific boot but since the are so few legitimately good options on the market for wide feet, I think it's ok to make an exception here.
