DeebieSkeebies"Worst season ever" in utah last year and we were taking pow laps in late april/may. We appreciate the concern but ill take my chances.
dan4060Just checked, Squaw got 561 inches in 09/10. Mammoth got dumped on too. If you check the list of el nino winters you will find a lot of big winters for the Sierra. I shouldn't say anything though, I don't want to jinx it.
quixoticit was 2010/11 that was the last fat year for the sierra nevada. squaw received 810" at 8,000' that season.

LogicalNonsenseShit I hope this is wrong
Mr.BishopI only believe weather predictions that are made while you are standing in the weather you're predicting... and that prediction is for what the weather will be like five seconds from now.
Of course, it definitely is nerve-wracking to imagine more bad winters out west... but that is another issue.
