GOPRO SELFIE STICK - which one would you recommend?

I've googled this question so many times just recently and have yet to come across a selfie stick that's grasped my attention in use for skiing. For you GOPro'ers out there, is there a selfie stick you'd recommend that's waterproof, lightweight, durable and maybe even the 180 degree rotation like the spivos? Thanks a lot guys/gals

powerpole by polarpro. Metal, adjustable, and has a huge battery built in that can keep your gopro going all day (and charge your phone too).

That's what I use. Just the handlebar mount at the end of a ski pole. I put duct tape under it for grip

I did the same thing before I got the powerpole. It works really well, and I would say that unless you are buying the pole for extra features (battery, I think some float, etc.), the ski pole makes the most sense.

My buddies and I have used the same two for years.

A hockey stick and a ski pole. Cheap and easy.

Used the GoPro 3M Sticky pad to connect to the copper.

I would drill though it and at least use a zip tie or something. I feel like that one could come loose quite easily

Thats what im gonna do. For my own sake of it coming loose and losing my go pro, Im gonna wrap a zip tie around it.

I was thinking you could drill through the plastic/3m gopro mount using the copper as a guide, then put the zip tie through that hole. That way, even if the connection between the 3m and the copper fails, you would still have a usable stick (assuming the zip tie is tight).

Genius. Haha not a bad idea and ill definitely look into doing that. Im not too worried about the 3M sticky to lose its stickiness because that stuff is super tough, but for added protection, the zip ties would be awesome. Still, not bad considering i spent $0.53

The 3m works well, it's what we all use on helmets in the cold etc. It's the fact that the copper will shrink in the cold that would likely cause it to fail. If the copper shrinks more than the 3m, and the 3m isn't compliant enough to accommodate for this, it will shear right off. It is also attached to a very small area, so the "holding" force will be much lower. Just figured I would throw it out there as it would really suck to lose a gopro. Otherwise, you should be all set.

"borrow" rental poles
drill through bottom of pole
put a bolt through with a washer
get a gopro tripod mount
cost= $2


and when your not using the camera you can take it off and use the poles as normal so you dont have a extra stick to carry around with you
