RusticlesAlso, are they similar to the blogs, loved the blogs
RusticlesI think what I'm most concerned about is use as a freestyle ski, I'm not too terribly picky but as a "partial twin" are these going to be sketchy landing switch on a 50 footer? I think when I read the comments "partial twin" I got concerned

onenerdykidIn terms of being an exact Blog replacement, they're not. Yes the ski has tail rocker with a bit of a turned up tail, but it's definitely not a Bentchetler which would be the ideal ski for what you just described. They really are a slimmer/smaller version of the Automatic 117. They can definitely be used as a backcountry freestyle ski, but not the ideal choice if you plan to be landing switch a lot.
cydwhitThanks for beating me to linking that!
Yeah, I've not yet skied the Automatic 109 but just from looking at it/flexing it I'm always a little disappointed it's not more of a Blog replacement. I absolutely loved that ski. I still have my pair, even after I ripped out a mount and they fell off the top of two different cars on the highway.
Maybe it's just cause that was my first rockered ski ever but the Blog will always have a soft spot in my heart. My dream is that some day it comes back, in a 190, with better graphics, with the bentchetler tip and tail horizontal rocker.
