onenerdykidIt depends on how good the shape of the pre-fabricated insole is compared to the needs of your foot. The best trim-to-fit I have seen is from Aline. They work super good actually, provided they are right for your foot. Other trim-to-fits I have seen are not that great and can sometimes cause more issues than they solve but again that depends on how they jive with your feet.

onenerdykidSuperfeet are meh, I've often seen their product take a decent foot and put it more out of alignment. But again, if they work for you then they will be ok. Just make sure to have an actual fitter do the assessment, not just some normal sales person.
