Did the olympics actually grow our sport?

before the 2014 winter olympics there was heavy debate about what it would do to our sport and what exposure we would get and how much our beloved community would grow. so did this actually happen? i haven't really seen anything to point in either direction. the is a little more deia coverage but lately ive actually notices a pretty decent shrinkage in our population here on ns.

Did our sport grow?

The amount of "this is my first year park sking" kids was much higher last year than I can ever remember it being so yes. The American sweep of the podium, the dogs, and how much media attention that brought definitely made some sort of impact (at least in the U.S.)
