ive found a pair of Volkl Ledge skis that are a good size and I know a lot of pros ride the ski so it should be good. The only problem is that its the 2010 model.
Is buying a 5 year old ski ok?

.GUCCI.if they work they work. nobody is going to be like "hey why are you riding the 2010 model". especially with volkl. maybe line, but not volkl.
TamasNo ones asks why youre still riding a 2010 model of line skis, they ask how...
gypsy_kidwill they be a lot heavier or unsymmetrical ( like have a tiny tail and big tips). What I'm trying to say is: is there a big difference between skis in 2010 and now?
daxtonLook for yourself. Here's the Evo page for the 2010 model:
http://www.evo.com/outlet/skis/volkl-ledge-2010.aspx
And the one for 2016:

Note the differences in weight, construction, etc.
PoikenzIf they are a solid deal and don't look horrible for wear I'd say go for it- if anything old skis make you look OG as fuck. If they come with the squire bindings plenty of people voice negative experiences with them so keep that in mind.
A.EmondIf they look like there in good shape i dont see why not, plus graphic is pretty dope...
FYI the tails on these skis will launch snow into the faces of people skiing close behind you, its pretty lol just warn your friends or let them find out the painful way

_salty_Don't make the same mistake I made, pros riding skis doesn't necisarily mean there good or you will like the skis. Buy for what you like.
