Replying to Having fun skiing and getting good skiing
I remember last winter when I first started seriously doing park, I had tons of fun skiing but I always worried about if I was getting better ....If I was skiing for hours and I didn't learn a new trick or I didn't accomplish something I was bummed and got upset that I didn't progress much that day. Me and my friends all started the same day and would encourage each other to throw tricks. Every body wanted to be the best and thinking back on it now I was one of the only people who compared people by skill level. I probably did it the most. After going to Mt Hood and seeing all these great skiers having fun I realized that skiing is about fun. After realizing how much I like skiing and the fact of not being able to ski much this winter i realized something... I want to ski not to progress that's just the icing on the cake. I want to ski to be free. Anybody else ever get caught up in improving more then having fun? Anybody get super competitive? Any body have a similar situation like me/ Let me know!
