Up because my ski hill doesnt have foot rests, but when i go to a place with foot rests i keep it down.

why would you ride with it up.....if you do it to be cool your lame....i mean honestly...why bother...it doesnt get in the way...its not a hassle.....and if you were to fall off and get fucked up it would really suck for you....im not saying you need it to be safe but there isnt any reason not to put the damn thing down

i really do deserve to fall off a lift at this point because its never down

its funny cause its not like we forget we actually have converstions about wether to put it up or not and what fallin off the lift would be like......thats just ogt bad news written all over it

99% of the chairlifts in michigan don't have them so nobody uses them. When I was in canada everyone used them and it was annoying. I took many safety bars to the leg and head because I wasn't expecting it. I do enjoy the foot rests though.

Usually put it down if its a fast chair or if it's windy out. Plus the foot rests are nice.

its all about fatigue, if im tired, the bar comes down. the bad part about the bars is that because im tall they more often than not hit my head on the way down. its a hassle.

No safety bars in most of the chairs?! That's fucking insane. How can they make you sign a waiver that says the ski hill isn't responsible for shit. Then you fall out of a chair lift with no bar. Duh.
