sellingerI would never wear one of those strapped ones because I feel like they look like shit. I should probably wear an in-mouth mouth guard considering the fact that last winter I took a prybar to the mouth and busted out my front teeth and am just now finishing up the implant process. 10/10 don't want to go through that again.
TallxTAs stated above, mouth guards do not protect against head injuries like concussions. They are only good for protecting your teeth. Wear a helmet and ski responsibly.
I'm a certified athletic trainer so this is some shit I know about.
Krotchs_BrotherI thought it had become common knowledge that most guards do almost nothing in terms of concussion prevention.
Still good if you're worried about biting into your tongue or damaging your teeth, but they don't prevent concussions.
