Totally Trevor brought me to this.. Ive tried with no success?! Any tips? I put my thumb knuckle on the edge of the can, under the opening of it, roll my thumb up and press with my nail but can't break through. It just hurts my thumb and my pride

Its really hard to do it with short thumb nail, so that may be the problem.

Thumbgunning is so easy. Just try it a few times with both your non dominant and dominant thumb. Once you get it one or twice its a breeze and you can let the ladies know that you have skilled fingers.

it helps if you get the air bubble in the can to where you are trying to punch through by turning it upside down first. then every can has a sweet spot about an inch-inch and a half from the bottom. if you can't get your thumb through on its own then get it into position and bash it in with your other hand, it will go for sure.

Shot gunning is the act of having a hole pierced in the bottom of the can then cracking the top and drinking its contents quick, where with thumb gunning, you poke your thumb through the can to then shotgun it
