MN hills blowing snow

Killington and "Monday" River are opening up in the next 2 days. Word had it some hills in MN are blowing snow for an early start as well. It's official that winter had started. Let this be the thread of official openings.

Drove through new York to Boston yesterday for college visits and the area in between is getting fown to low 30s and high 20s (at night) so it might be earlier than you think

Snow showers at the mountain today bub... we need that cold spell that will last a few days. Hopefully by Thanksgiving we will be at it again this year!

thinking they might test out their guns tho. as t year when they did it they found out that one of the pipes had burst.

No, last year they started snowmaking and blew the mainline the night they started. They haven't done anything to prepare for this season, so a similar outcome may be likely.
