Yep the skis are from the Atomic Custom Studio, where you pick the shape (model) of ski you want, choose anywhere from completely doing your own graphic from scratch down to basic simple color mods on an existing graphic, uploading hi-res photos, and personalizing text (if you want). As of right now, it's only available in Euroland but it's a pretty cool start I think.
found out about some new boots today, but unfortunately that's about all i can say haha. but i will say one of my favorite boots is getting at least 30% better

Sorry, dub post, but HOLY COW!!!! that's the sickest thing I've ever seen, I only ask two things: Make the Bentchetlers available on it, and make it available in the US. I would seriously buy current year skis at full price for the first time in my life with that option....
Stoked We're in the thread!! DAYMAKERS is Giray and I's company. We are busting our ass to get them here early 2016. I just got back from visiting our factory in China and was BLOWN away with how nice of a facility we are in and the level of professionalism. (PS we tried to make them here and American sheet metal factories are not nearly as nice and they were not willing to take on a project that isn't a giant military defense contract).
We have been refining our production design and have gotten the weight significantly less than those prototypes shown. We have stickers and T shirts that should be available in a day or two to help fund development and will be launching presales for the adapters soon. We were gonna kickstart it, but based on how killer our factory is and how positive the response has been from you guys we are gonna forgo that so we can bring them straight to you guys sooner and for less money! Pricing will be finalized soon, but expect a good bit under 300.
.MASSHOLE.Arcteyrx mountaineering boot. OneNerdyKid, any inop
Damn. Lateral flex in a light touring boot?
Maybe this is the future. Who knows how much room there is in the $1000 carbon light touring/climbing boot category though. This stuff appeals to a very small fraction of people, most of whom are trying to find it on proform.

I mean, it's all trickle down... if Arcteryx builds a brand and reputation, then when the market's grown to the point where the backcountry is getting skied out, then they'll have a good part of that market and good all-around brand rec.
japanadaI would be so happy if I could buy tech soles for my 15/16 xt130s next year!
From what I understand you won't be able to unfortunatly. Lange are going the k2 route of putting the inserts in the non replabale section. Next seasons boots use the same mold as this season just with the inserts added.
I saw the arcteryx boots being tested the other day. Must say they looked really ugly but surprisingly they were testing them with beasts. So if that is anything to go buy maybe you can ski a bit in them. Still it won't be a newschoolers product from what I have seen.

Yea I got so excited to see that I didnt take enough time to look closely at the pic. Looks like a package should get sent off to CAST to have some work done and order up a set of kingpins.

All those Newschoolers looking to get into feisty mixed climbing on the way up to their ski objectives?
I wonder if anyone has ever accidentally hooked a crampon into a tall tee that they were wearing.
fab02Salomon. Looks like the next year Mtn Lab/ or Q series
Some Voelkl skis:
Top skis definitely say QST behind the binding, Am willing to bet those white boots are just the new MTN Explore graphic, Volkl V-werks skis are still the weirdest thing I've ever strapped to my feet
