Replying to Camber park ski for Tweener
Got a unique teenager who's been skiing and competing in park for 5 years, has the skills and strength to spin 1080s off of 40-50 footers but is small for his age at only 5'3" and 105 lbs. He's ready for a 155-161 sz ski and in that range some options are full on adult model (Volkl Wall 161) and some still junior (Line Future Spin Shorty 157). Super high strength to weight ratio as he competes in jr crossfit competitions and can deadlift more than twice his weight and power clean more than his weight plus run sub 19min 5K so the leg strength is there just not sure if the body weight is for a stiffer adult ski. We're steering away from the Armadas as he's destroyed 4 pairs of Codas over past 5 years, last pair he's now outgrown are the future spin shorty 147 which has held up much better than any of the Armada skis. Easy choice would just be next size up for future spin but as big as he's going not sure if he should be on an adult ski now.
