i was standing in the park yesterday, and got drilled by some kid/guy (maybe 17, looked like carrot top with darker hair) at like 40. he was on full rental gear (not supposed to be in the park). i didnt get hurt or anything, but it was messed up. that day i also alomst got into a fight with some jock ass snowboard wanaa be (for cleaning up the lip of a jump no less), and got accusesd of stealling andy and getting in a fight with the deushe bag gas station guy. wierd.

anyone else ever get hit while skiing? ive never hit anyone, and what was the outcome. he was flyin and im so glad i didnt get taken out though. could have easily wrecked my knees /back.

when i was in like 3rd grade some skier came flying and had to do a spead eagle over me, except i still got hit. It hurt so bad.

Hahaha, I've come really close to landing on some retards, had to land on edge, flail, yell to save their dumbass.

One time though... a few years ago, a buddy of mine was way ahead of me on the trail, I thought he had trucked it all the way to the lift, so I blazed down the hill. There's a blindspot at the trail intersection, you come out of a big flattish bend, and then it drops. Well he stopped in the blindspot, and I couldn't see him in time. I plowed into him and our line of friends, primo domino effect.

Funny part is... they were being lectured by ski patrol for riding too fast... hmmm

ive got hit by a snowboarder standing in the lineup for a rail. he bent my pole and put a huge mark in my boot. i was pissed but at least it wasnt my ankle or knees.

me and my riding buddy were carving down a trail, prolly going 45+. We carved right into eachother, so funny, we got all tangled up and shit

I got taken out by a snowblader once because he was booking (for a snowblader) and couldnt stop and just plowed me. I was so pissed.

i got hit by a gay as snowboarder while i was stopped..then i was taken off my skis to get on the gondola and a snowboarder decided to push his board over my skis..Skiers have also ran over my skis..Ive hit a snowboarder i was skiing behind who randomly stopped in the middle of the trail wicked fast..I fucking hate people who dont know what theyre doing..they should get the fuck off the mountain..it really pisses me off when i get hit

i landed on a snowblader once... no joke he was on another ramp then cut me off right before i hit the jump. of course he cased and fell then i did a 3 and he was like o shit and i was like o shit then i landed on top of him and skied away. he was fine but it scarred the living poo out of him. serves him right for cutting other people off

when i was like 5 i was at ajax and some like 30 year old ran me over, like he fell on me and i was pinned under him and when he got up he started screaming at me, i dont remember it very well seeing as i was 5, but i may have cut him off, but i still had the right of way.

I was skiin this weekend and some snowboarder is like carvin behind me and i was like nervously glancing over my shoulder knowing he was gonna try something. Sure enough, i feel something hit my tails, i turn around and the snow boarder is tumbling on the ground. Still not sure how he managed to fall after just touching my skis... I've had to do some crazy stuff to avoid hittin people's skis (cause i know how much it pisses people off), and i've never fallen. Moron snowboarder...

I got hit last week by a snowboarder...he was totally out of control...I went switch over a roller...looking before hand to make sure no 1 was around...this kid came down the headwall at full speed...and starts screaming look out...well I was looking downhill...making sure I wasn't going to run into anyone...skiing switch...and the kid just runs into me..knocked me over backwards...hit my head...got a concussion...at which point he picks up my goggles and says...you OK...NO I'M NOT OK...but anyways I just told him to go down the hill...better than kicking his ass and getting arrested....oh well...it led me to practice my switch carving a little more...so i never get run into again

i was arc-ing down a cruiser when i was mabye 12 or 13, and i just pop over this little roller....... just as i pop, a tiny snowboarder kid stands up, dead infront of me. i do a total spread eagle and bear hug the kid, as i flip over him when i hit....... pretty much ninja style. too bad all both of our shit went EVERYWHERE........ fucking idiot kid.

i almost hit someone today at stratton. i'm coming down to a like, 5 way merge, and i'm trying to cut up the trail on my right....... so i look through the woods, and this guy is hugging the trees the same way i am. we come face to face, and have one of those moments of indicision where we can't decide how to go around each other. i proceed to cross my tips and fall on my ass, while he skis off into a bush. we're both laughing about it though, it was pretty comical........


and then there's my buddy's head. there's a kicker over a table, and a scoop jump on the side of it. he hits the scoop on skis, while a snowboarder rips down and hits the big kicker. somehow, his head, and the edge of the snowboard lined up. something like 10+ stiches on the side of his head, and blood all over the table for the next week.

the very first time i hit someone was when i was at whistler over x-mas...carving down a slope, pretty chill...and i see this guy in the corner of my carving too...i was on the left side, going right, and he was in the middle coming towards me...i thought he saw me, but he didnt, so we both end up turning at like the exact same moment, and our skis came into contact, and the guy went flying, while i stopped, trying to not laugh, and made sure he was ok...

some snowboarder hit my dad (he's manic too just to add to the situation) when i was like 5 and my dad takes his skis off and starts screamin at the guy. my dad ended up making him brush off his ski and apologizing probably one of the funniest moments of my life so far

my cousin was taken out on the bunny slope by a rental rider, and she got a concussion with her helmet on, the doctor said that if she wasn't wearing a helmet that she would probably have died or recieved serious brain damage

One time at Killy I was going down the slow ski zone outside of the lodge, but a lot of people go flyin through there to get to the gondola, and some snowboarder went flying past me, so he had to have been going over 40, and a snow mobile came around the corner, so he had to jump out of the way...he jumped right into a skier who was moving in the other direction. Ouch.

I was skiing with a girl once too who was moving at high speed too and some noob cut up the hill at a merge, nothing she could do...ran right into her. The girl dislocated her thumb. The lady tried to bitch at her for it.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

Some snowboarder decided to bail on this hip. He sat on the flat for about 2 minutes when i finally said im just gonna go, and spot a landing as far away from him as i could. So when i was in the air, he decided to go right under me, and i landed right on him. What a fucking dipshit.

during a powder day i stopped on the side of a run to adjust my goggles and hat really quick, and some boarder slams right into me. i was the only person there... on a wide ass trail... and yet he still hit me somehow. he apoligized and asked if i was ok and everything (which i was), so it wasn't like he was a dick about it, though.

me and a friend have smashed into eachother a couple times. we both ski at the same speed, really fast, and we both tend to look down the trail all the time and ignore whats happening around us. so we leave at the same time, and we come up to a narrower part in the trail, so we start skiing closer to eachother without even realizing it. we both hit a little knoll and launch it. mid air we smash into eachother, neither of us fell, so we laughed a little about it afterwards. another time, same sorta thing happened, just off a bigger knoll, and we were coming at eachother at a sharper angle, all skis flew off, my buddy ends up getting tangled in his poles and shit and hurtin himself, i just hit the snow and slid about 150 feet down the run

A few years ago at Fernie I was standing near the lift line waiting for some friends to get down and this snowboarder (must have been close to 250 pounds) came flying down the hill and crashed straight into me, sending me flying about 5 feet. Luckily I wasn't hurt too bad, but for the rest of the weekend my neck hurt like a bitch.

ooo I though of this other time when this hot shot old guy was skiing next to me. I was about 5 or 6, slowly making my way down the moguls. This guy blasts by me and sprays the hell outa me as well as taking me out. My dad got sooo pissed he bombed the moguls (literally, he didnt turn. his knees were fucked up for months), hunted the guy down, sprayed the fuck out of him, and proceded to verbally rape him in the ass. He then took the chairlift back up and found me sitting in the same place I had been watching from.

ive never really been hit but once i was skiing with my friend and he was trying to hit me with hit pole, so i hit it back down towards the snow, anyways the pole actually planted in the ground infront of my friend and it went directly into his chest, the pole bent to about a 90 degree angle and he was knocked over, he was also out of breath for a while too, it was hillarious though

yea i dont think i've ever been hit but the last saturday, i was skiing and there was this jump in the park of to the side thats about 6-7 feet and you cant see the landing because it goes over to the other side...but anyways, i hit it and there was this snowboarder that i landed directly on top of...im not talking about falling, and then sliding on top if him, i landed DIRECTLY on him...my skis were perpendicular with his body...it was awesome...i just skied away too...lol...i mean, i dont have a problem with snowboarders of anything like that, if they shesh, then why not ya know? but i just think its funny when they blow and they are in the park...alright im out...

i've got hit a few times... mostly in the park or waiting for people on beginner runs. BUt I have hit someone myself, blasted him at like 60% full speed. NOT my fault, but of course it was a dumbass snowboarder who didn't look up hill and came outta no where right in front on me. I am lucky I didn't get one ski between his legs, otherwise we woulda been in the hospital. Fucker.
