last season most mountains in the lower mainland had to let all their seasonal staff go by mid january...

Whistler sucks don't come here we have no snow. Nah but for real last season was a lot of fun. Everybody quit skiing by February and we had an empty mountain when it did snow. Except it would rain high up so you had to lap the alpine. I hope people keep getting deterred by high freezing levels. Makes for some good uncrowded alpine turns....and you can always count on a quality park.

the most important question is, do you have a place to live? cause if you don't then you might as well not come out....

Yea this, jobs should be a bit easier to.find this year as they made it harder for foreigners to get visas. But the housing situation has been a disaster lately. Land lords have been even more greedy than usual. So start looking now or you'll barely have a chance of finding a place.
