tomPietrowskiMordecai woul be my choice. The kartel is amazin but would not be my choice for touring, too rockered and soft really. The mordecai would be my choice over the bacon a. They have better flair and stability an the early rise rather then rocker of the kartel will mean more of the skin ia in contact. I have not skie te faction

chicknfriedsteakEven the new bacon? I'm a small guy so the Bacon seemed better fit than the Mordecai, but I haven't skied them so Idk.
tomPietrowskiIt comes down to what you will be skiing. For me here in whistler the new sfb skied well but it would be my choice for an all MTN ski not a pow ski. But say you're somewhere wit less fresh or more importantly lighter snow you may find the narrower sfb is fine for you. Touring wise sure the sfb will be slightly lighter but if you are out looking for big lines and good snow a slightly wider footprint will make things easier.
chicknfriedsteakWell, my mountain is known for it's deep and dry snow, but I usually can't get there tell later in the day when most of it is already chopped up. So I do most of my powder skiing in the side or back country.
tomPietrowskiFor chopped up pow then the mordecai for sure. They tracked so much better then the sfb and I can honestly say they were probably my favourite freeride ski I tried last season. They really do rip but being so light they will make a decent touring ski. I going for the mordecai wit kingpins for my playful touring setup.
