Road Trip Advice: Arches national park, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Zion, Vegas

Been to all of them except Vegas. Would definitely recommend. Well worth it

Vegas is also a pretty good sized airport if you need it as an option to fly into.

How much time do you have and how open are you to driving? I would say getting over to yosemite and maybe some of the california coastline could be well worth it as well.

Sounds like an awesome trip. Most foreigners start in vegas and rent a car and drive to zion from there. vegas is totally worth it for a day or two if youve never been there. the most hilariously American place in the world.

it's a short easy drive to zion from there. then you could go a number of places in southern utah/northern arizona from the zion area. it's a bit of a haul over to moab but worth it if you have time.

also if it's a decent time of year, bring/rent camping gear. staying in a lot of those popular areas can be expensive and the western US is blessed with an unbelievable amount of free primitive camping. something like 70% of utah is BLM/USFS land which means free camping. even if you camp half the days your will save cash. pm me if you want some beta on some good free spots in those areas or some activity recommendations.

Honestly Vegas is super lame compared to all of the other places on your list. Zion is super amazing and would be worth it by itself. I highly recommend Bryce canyon too. Bryce is just a couple of hours from Zion and I think it is better than the Grand Canyon.

I mean, it depends what you're into. I don't think OP wants to spend the whole time there. But coming on a trip from out of the country, Vegas is one of those places some people have heard about and want to check out.

If you're over 21 it's a fun time. I mean I would rather be in nature but stopping through vegas isn't bad.
