Help with a predicament

I need some help guys.

For the past couple of years I've always I've had my heart set on getting the Double Down pass for Mt. Snow/Stratton (and using it pretty much always at Snow) when I turn 18, and this is the year. Snow is about 2 hours from my house. Stuff has come up recently to show that Windham is going to have killer parks this year. WIndham is only about an hour from my house, making trips there super easy, and on top of that, they have the air bag, night skiing, etc, but I still don't think it will compare to Carinthia. I can get a season pass to either, and I can get Windham tickets super cheap because I have family members who work for the state. Is the extra hour of driving each way and gas money worth it to make it up to Vermont twice a week? I just don't know at this point. If you were in my situation, which would you pick? +k for any advice...

tl;dr: Is saving 4 hours worth of time and gas money worth it to downgrade from Mt. Snow to Windham?

i would go with mt snow personally.. carinthia is sick. why not buy both passes? double down is super cheap and it sounds like you could get cheap tickets for windham

Yea mount snow deff has the best parks in New England. Its really worth the drive. Ive been to windham and personally I can't see how there parks are gonna be any better. They don't devote enough of the mountain to it.

Supposedly this season they are dumping money into it, so stand by for that...

OP, I would lean towards the double down pass because even if the parks were comparable this season (which I'm not saying they will be) but you're wayyyy more likely to get pow days in Vermont than in the Catskills and a longer season. Mount snow usually has rails set up by the first weekend of November
