this weekend huh... well, ill be in utah... probably not at pc though... something about apsen trees .02 millimeters apart over the entire mountain and half the snow of the cottonwoods tells me its a bad idea.

i would stay away from cottonwood canyons right now, i herd some shit about the biggest avalanche in altas history today that leveled 4 houses. the utah snow report has this to say
Bottom Line:
The current avalanche danger is HIGH. Stay of off and out from underneath any steep slope. Any avalanche that releases will be large and deadly.
The avalanche danger is EXTREME in the Provo area mountains.

theres approx jack in the provo area. only mountaneers on timp have to worry about that one... and as far as the cottonwoods, just dont go doodling up the south facing slope. im sure the ski areas will be controlling. but yeah. stay safe.
