Behold, the stupidest fucking thing I have seen in my entire life. Every fall Rib mountain/Granite Peak in Wisconsin has fall chairlift rides. The hill is 700 vertical feet, yet almost everybody waits in this 1/4 mile line for two hours and pays $9 each for the chairlift that hauls them up to the top. Very few people hike up the gradually sloping trails.
I understand that children and the elderly might have difficulty hiking, but that only explains 20% of this insane crowd. Have we reached new levels of lazy?
I'm actually worried for the future of humanity. Scared shitless. We are so doomed.
Some people wanna see the foliage from a high view and not walk up a mountain to see less than they could on the lift. My friend did this at some mountain in NY and according to his snapchat story it was a really good view of the surroundings.

The lift is 15 feet higher than the runs. Not even over the treeline. I think the view is worse.
They're lazy because they don't want to hike up the mountain? I think lazy would be not wanting to even get up to even go to the mountain. The lift is a nice ride and usually a great view. Plus is gives people a reason to be outside and do something, especially when there is nothing to do.

We had the same October fest at my mountain today and me and a couple friends were mountain biking and the lines were terrible today and yesterday because we have to share the same gondola as those tourists. Also even worse they were all fucking walking up and down the only trail down until it branches off into a few others. And it was the last weekend of biking so we pretty much had no chioce to go a different weekend
