I hate that people had to make a joke out of this, they really just shot themselves in the foot because it was honestly the best way to hook up with a girl. Let's be honest, both sides always knew what it epuld result in, but this way no one had to explicitly say it
I personally like that the term "Netflix and Chill" has become synonymous with hooking up. It sorta saves time for me. Also if you do ask a girl to netflix and chill she will either say "Sure" or "I'm not down" or some kind of variation of that so then you know you got a girl that isn't down to clown, but is down to see where it goes, which in some aspects is better, depends on what you are looking for on Tinder.

The trick to a successful "Netflix and Chill Session" is no food, drinks (alcoholic or non) and a show that like a sitcom like the Office or Parks and Rec. No deep story, and super chill. My go to is the office since its funny, everyone has seen at least one episode in their life, and there is never a bad episode of the office (before the last season since the last season is pretty heavy emotionally, Fucking Jim and Pam).

I mean of course everyone has always done this. It just went from "wanna come over and watch a movie" to "wanna come over and watch netflix" to the "netflix and chill?" internet sensation.
