Morality of hooking up with a bro's sister

Been good friends with this guy for about 3 years now, ski with him about every day in the winter and am at his house a lot and see his 2 year younger sister that is fairly good looking/good body and more or less up for anything. In a hypothetical ( future ) situation where his sister would come onto me would a hook up be ok?

I dated one of my best friends older sisters for a while in secret (more her idea than mine) and always felt really bad about lying to my friend - probably one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made actually. We used to hang out a lot together (the 3 of us) but when things got serious between her and I, he definitely knew something was up (it gets hard to hide your feelings when you fall in love with someone). I could tell he was pissed about it so I ended up growing distant from her, unfortunately.

Moral of the story is, don't lie to your friends - you will feel like a giant piece of shit for it, even if it's for a pretty girl.

The last time it came up in conversation he just said he'd rather have her be involved with a dude he trusts and respects than the alternative. I don't understand why people wouldn't be ok with it. One of my best friends dated my sister for a while. They broke up and it ended on really bad terms but we're still good friends
