Microsoft Surface Book

Also, dunno if any of you guys have used windows 10, I did for a few days at the NS office and honestly, its pretty legit. We're upgrading all of our windows machines at my current job (mostly servers and encoding machines) and theyre faster, more efficent, etc its awesome.

That's a pretty sweet laptop. It's about time Microsoft upped their game in the laptop market. Full i7 processor with 16GB RAM and a dedicated graphics card in that small a package? That seems very competitive to me. And that hinge mechanism looks pretty sweet. It seems like no matter what you are able to achieve the best viewing angle all the time.

I've upgraded my machine to windows 10 and I have not had any problems with it. The majority of machines run Windows out in the wild still, Microsoft can still dominate I think with this version of Windows.

Yeah it looks pretty sweet, would be interesting to see if you could hackintosh one of these fuckers, even though the price aligns with apples prices and I'm sure you can't upgrade your surface book like a MBP.

Could this be the first PC laptop that doesn't feel like complete shit?

I lol'd when it came off the keyboard, but dang, finally a metal laptop with a form function that might make me want to use it. I still don't think I'll ever convert back over for laptops but that thing is pretty sweet!

gonna hopefully graduate in the spring and thinking that will be a good time to port over to a new computer once everything is said and done. this bad boy and the new surface pro 4 they announced look like good candidates.

This actually makes me want to buy it. I really just wish windows would run off Unix and I would like it so much more. I love my terminal. But I'm glad to see Mac Book Pros have a real competitor now. If I didn't get my MBP last year I would've been very tempted to get this.
