Ski Tech Help

I want to remount a pair of 4FRNT STL's but am worried that the new pair of bindings will have a weaker hold and can rip out more easily.

Let me know what a single remount will do to the ski.

Shouldn't do anything really. I've heard you can remount a ski up to 3 times before it's structure is affected. Don't quote me on that though. I would remount and just fill up the old holes w/ epoxy.

I remember reading that too but the post was talking about the ski losing responsiveness and performance.

I am just curious because of how much abuse we put our bindings through.

well if its structure is affected it is gonna alter responsiveness and performance.

yeah, but if the holes are right next to each other you run the risk. but if your jumpin back more than a CM, your fine. talk to your shop, tell um whats up.

yeah make sure the holes of the new bindings and old bindings are more than a cm or two apart like was said above. You should be fine remounting them only once. Twice might be a little sketchier. it might void your 2 year 4front warrantee though.
